UrduStrong Start is a free early learning drop-in program funded by the Ministry of Education, for parents and their children, 5 years of age and under.
Sooke School District works closely with Sooke Family Resource Society and other community resource agencies to provide a quality program for parents, grandparents or caregivers and their children.
Strong Start will begin on Monday, September 19. Times are 8:50 – 11:50 am from Monday to Friday. Please see monthly calendar for times, activity and closures for the day.
- Families may attend both indoor and outdoor programs
- Enter the classroom via the door by the Gaga ball pit – far corner of the school
Children must be registered if they would like to attend. Birth certificate or valid passport are required for registration
- Registration form can be completed first time attending or complete before hand (click on Strong Start for drop down menu and click on registration form)
For indoor sessions families please come to the Strong start window and Nina will let you in through the doors by the gaga ball pit at which point you must sanitize your hands. We hope you are able to join us for some sessions both outside and indoors. See you soon!
